Spent three hours chasing a phantom electrical gremlin on a 6.7 Powerstroke
It turned out to be a single corroded pin in the main harness connector I'd already checked twice. I finally found it by wiggling each wire while the engine was running. Anyone have a better method for tracking down intermittent connection issues like that?

Three hours? Man, that's brutal. I've been there, and it's the worst kind of headache. You finally find it and it's something so small you just want to scream. Wiggling wires is a classic move, honestly. I've had some luck with a little spray of contact cleaner on those big connectors before plugging them back in.

Yeah contact cleaner is a lifesaver for those old connectors. I keep a can next to my tools now because of stuff like this. The worst is when the corrosion is invisible and you only find it by cleaning every single pin. Saves you from having to redo the whole job a week later when the same problem comes back.
