Dropped $250 on a used bore scope and it already paid off

Had a 6.7 Powerstroke come in last week with a weird miss and no codes, customer was ready to throw parts at it. Stuck my cheap bore scope down the intake and found a chunk of carbon wedged in the EGR valve. Anyone else had luck with cheaper bore scopes or should i have saved for a Snap-on?

I heard a buddy say the cheap ones work fine for most stuff as long as the camera quality isn't total garbage. Your find proves that point.
