TIL the 'extra scenes' on a streaming service aren't always deleted scenes

Last week I was watching a show on Hulu and saw a tab labeled 'extras' with three scenes that were supposedly cut from season 2. One of them turned out to be a 4 minute ad for a car brand wearing a fake movie jacket, not even close to a deleted scene. Anyone else run into this bait and switch where the 'bonus content' is just a glorified commercial?

Happened to me on Netflix last month, watched a so called "deleted scene" that was just a 90 second trailer for another show. Felt like I got tricked into watching an ad dressed up as bonus content, honestly made me double check every extras tab since then.
