The alternate ending to Cabin in the Woods that blew my mind last month

I was scrolling through deleted scenes on YouTube last week and found this whole different ending for Cabin in the Woods. In it, the survivors actually make it out of the facility and into the real world, but it turns out the ancient gods are still angry. There's a whole 8 minute sequence where they try to reason with the gods and it's way darker than the theatrical ending. I honestly think it would've changed how everyone talks about that movie. Has anyone else seen this alternate ending and prefer it over the original?

lmao yeah I remember finding that ending on a random horror forum years ago. It totally changes the vibe of the movie cause the original ending felt more like a punchline, but that deleted version makes you feel hopeless in a whole different way.
