The alternate ending for Sunshine that I found on YouTube
I was digging through old deleted scenes last weekend and stumbled on the alternate ending for Sunshine on YouTube from about 3 years ago. It completely changes the whole vibe of the movie, making it way more hopeful instead of the weird slasher turn it took. Has anyone else seen this version, and do you think it would have made the movie better or just too predictable?

Nah, the weird slasher turn is exactly what made the ending stick with me.

The jump scare with the garden shears got me so bad I dropped my phone in a bowl of popcorn... fun times. It was like the movie suddenly remembered it could be a horror film and went all in on the gore. Guess the director figured subtlety was overrated and just let the chainsaws fly.
