Still don't get the hype around that deleted scene from Blade Runner 2049

Everyone goes crazy for the scene where Deckard meets Ana Stelline in her memory workshop. I watched it on the Blu-ray extras and honestly, it felt too slow and exposition-heavy. The theatrical version kept more mystery. Am I missing something or did that scene actually drag down the pacing?

Watched it once and fell asleep halfway through. Woke up thinking I'd missed something profound but really just missed my nap.

Blairtaylor, you gotta pace yourself with that one. I tried a similar approach and ended up rewinding every fifteen minutes. Best to split it into three chunks with coffee breaks in between. Then it actually holds together without nodding off.
