I still think that alternate romance ending for 'La La Land' was better than the real one

I know everyone loves the bittersweet final scene where they smile at each other, but I found the original ending on the Blu-ray where she stays with Ryan Gosling's character way more satisfying. They had real chemistry in that coffee shop scene, and the whole last 10 minutes felt more genuine before they cut it. Am I the only one who thinks the studio made a mistake swapping it out for the 'what if' montage instead? Has anyone else watched both and preferred the deleted version?

Did you catch that little smile she gives him right before the montage kicks in? That moment alone felt more real than the whole Broadway sequence they went with instead. I watched both versions back to back and the cut one just flows way better, like it keeps the magic alive instead of crushing it.
