Why does nobody talk about how long it takes to sort through old digital photos

I spent last Sunday trying to organize my phone photos from the last 3 years. It took me 7 hours straight to delete blurry shots and food pics from 2022. I kept finding screenshots of random shipping confirmations and memes from my sister. The whole thing made me wonder how much digital junk we all just hoard forever. Has anyone else ever actually finished this task or do you just give up after an hour?
