Took 4 days to find a deleted thread that explained my router issue

Had this weird network drop every night around 2am for weeks. ISP said nothing was wrong. Finally found a screenshot of a deleted reddit post where a guy in Chicago had the exact same issue. Turns out it was the router's auto-update timer. The thread got wiped before I could bookmark it. Took 4 days of digging through archive sites and cache pages. Has anyone else had a fix disappear before you could save it?

Man, that's a lot of effort for a router fix. I mean, is losing one night of sleep really worth 4 days of digging through cached pages?
