That deleted thread about the county fair photo booth was the real story
Last week someone posted a long thread about the county fair photo booth in Wichita that got deleted after about 6 hours. Everyone in the comments was saying it was fake or that the vendor deserved what they got. But I was actually there on Saturday night and saw the whole thing go down. The photo booth broke down around 8pm, the line had about 40 people in it, and the vendor was clearly overwhelmed trying to refund tickets. The thread that got deleted was written by the vendor's kid, and it had receipts, receipts from the repair shop and the rental agreement. People piled on before reading the timeline, and the mods pulled it because of doxxing threats. I still have screenshots saved if anyone wants to compare notes. Has anyone else seen a deleted post that turned out to be more truthful than the popular take?

Man that whole thing was a MESS. I saw the screenshots floating around before the thread vanished and the timeline made TOTAL sense once you actually read it. People just love to jump on the bandwagon before checking facts.
Same thing happened at our local flea market last summer, someone posted about a vendor overcharging and it turned out the receipt they showed was from a DIFFERENT stall entirely. Mods killed that one too after the witch hunt started. Wild how fast the mob moves.

@the_adam got the flea market part wrong, it wasn't a receipt, it was a bag tag.
