Saw a deleted AMA from a former Amazon warehouse manager that spilled the real numbers on how fast they track pick rates

Last month someone posted proof that pickers get flagged at 200 scans per hour minimum and the thread got nuked within 4 hours, has anyone else seen that data pop back up anywhere?

That's rough, I remember seeing some of the aftermath of that AMA but never the original post. 200 scans an hour is brutal, that's basically a scan every 18 seconds nonstop without any bathroom breaks or slow items. Someone really got burned for trying to warn people about the real conditions inside those warehouses.

Funny you mention that, my nephew worked at a fulfillment center one Christmas and he said the managers would actually play music over the speakers to keep the pace up. He told me they had this one song that came on every 30 minutes like clockwork and everyone knew it meant to speed up. I guess it was some kind of subliminal thing. He lasted three weeks before his back gave out and he quit.
