Pro tip: screen record the drama before the thread goes nuclear, not after

Had a situation last Thursday in the Facebook group for our neighborhood watch where someone posted a 12-part rant about the HOA board president's dog barking. It got deleted within 40 minutes, probably 300 comments in. I was lucky enough to grab the first 4 parts plus some replies before it vanished. The funny thing is now both sides are arguing in the group about what was actually said, and it's turning into round two of drama. I saved that screenshot folder to my phone, but I also backed it up to Google Drive because my last phone died mid-crisis and I lost a whole archive of deleted posts from a now-defunct meme page. So here's my question: do you guys lean toward archiving everything immediately even if it might be nothing, or do you wait to see if it blows up first? I've had too many nights where I thought a post was gonna get deleted and it stayed up forever, wasted storage on nonsense, but the one time I hesitated I lost a golden piece of internet history forever.
