Turkey fryer flare up ruined my driveway last Thanksgiving

I got the turkey in at 350 degrees on my back porch in Columbus, but the basket slipped and dropped it too fast, oil went everywhere and the whole thing caught fire in about 6 seconds. The flames scorched a 4 foot black circle into the concrete and melted the plastic handle off my neighbor's rake when I tried to push the pot away. Has anyone else had a deep fryer accident that left permanent damage to something outside the kitchen?
