My 2FA app glitched and locked me out of my bank account for 3 days

Last Thursday my authenticator app just randomly reset itself after an update. I tried to log into my Chase account and the code was wrong every time. Had to call their support line in Omaha and sit on hold for 45 minutes before they could verify my identity through backup questions. Anyone else have a 2FA tool fail on them at the worst possible time?

Ugh, Omaha of all places! I cannot believe they had you on hold that long just to prove who you are. That sounds like a complete nightmare. My husband would have lost his mind if the bank codes stopped working. It makes me want to double check my backup codes right now. Did they at least apologize for the wait?
