Just realized my password manager was saving duplicates - cleaned out 47 of them today

I was scrolling through my password manager vault yesterday (bored on the train, you know?) and noticed I had like 5 entries for amazon.com with slightly different usernames. One was from 2018. Another from a work account I forgot about. I spent about 20 minutes cleaning out 47 duplicate logins total. Shout out to the guy on Reddit who mentioned checking for this in a thread about LastPass alternatives - made me actually look. Has anyone else found old accounts in their vault that you totally forgot existed?

47 duplicates? That's more than I have total passwords in my vault. I think I've got like 30 entries max, half of them are probably old Netflix logins from college roommates. I can't imagine having that many just for one site, that's wild. Did you find any that were like, a username you don't even recognize from a site you forgot you signed up for?

You mention finding usernames you don't recognize, that's what got me too. I had one for a site called "Wrapbox" or something like that. No clue what it was. Did you actually go through and delete the ones you didn't need, or did you just leave them sitting there? Because I'm still on the fence about a few of mine where I can't even remember the password and the reset email goes to an old address I don't check anymore. Feels like digital hoarding at this point.
