Found out that 90% of data breaches start with phishing emails, according to a report I read on Verizon's site
I always thought it was some shady hacker breaking in, but apparently it's just people clicking bad links. Has anyone else seen these stats and changed how they train their team?

Did you see that thing where someone put a fake QR code on a parking meter and it looked totally real? @irismartinez that fake test thing works but I swear some people click those more than real emails now because they look so official. My neighbor's 80 year old dad got hit by one that looked exactly like his bank's login page, even the font matched. It's wild out there.

Did you see that Google's study found phishing is getting way more convincing with AI generated emails now? My company switched to doing random fake phishing tests every month instead of just talking about it in meetings. Honestly it's scary how many of our smartest people still fall for them even after all the training.
