Warning: My framer used a level that was off by 1/8 inch

Last month my framer in Phoenix was using a 4 foot level that had a bubble that was stuck off center. I didn't catch it until we were done with the whole second story. Anyone else ever double check your crew's tools before they start?

Yeah I had a tape measure that was missing the first inch for like two years before I noticed.

My dad had a rusty old level for years and every time he used it he'd blame the wall for being crooked. Finally checked it one day and that thing was off by a mile.
