Visited a net-zero house in Vermont and now I'm second-guessing my whole plan

I stopped by a custom build in Stowe last weekend that was all Passive House insulated and had those triple-pane windows from Europe. The owner said his heating bill was under $200 for the whole winter, which is wild compared to my current setup. Is it really worth the extra upfront cost, or am I overthinking this for a standard build in New England?

Funny how that works, you spend years thinking something's fine then one number just flips your whole perspective... that's usually how life shakes out, one small thing changes everything.

Read some study saying a single bad review can tank a whole restaurant.

@the_charlie said it, one number really does flip everything. Is it worth it?
