The moment I realized slab placement matters more than stud spacing

I was building a custom bar top in my garage last Tuesday and spent 3 hours leveling it perfectly. Then my buddy who builds cabinets for a living walked in and pointed out I'd set the whole thing 2 inches off from the wall outlet placement. Made me totally rethink how I plan foundation layouts now. Has anyone else had a positioning oversight that forced a full redo?

Drove myself CRAZY once building a shed and realized the whole floor was an inch out of square because I eyeballed the first corner. Had to just scrap the whole platform and start fresh with string lines.

Been there with a fence line once, thought I had it straight but ended up zigzagging across three properties.
