That time the framers didn't check the foundation and we lost a whole week
Back in 2014 we were building a house just outside Richmond, Virginia. The foundation crew poured the slab and the framers came in the next day. They set the first wall and something felt off. I measured twice and the slab was almost 4 inches out of square at one corner. The framers had to stop, the foundation guys had to come back and grind down the high spots, and we lost five full days waiting on concrete work. The homeowner was not happy, but the framers told me they see that happen maybe once every thirty jobs. Has anyone else had to deal with a messed up foundation that threw off the whole schedule?

Damn, that sucks. I had a buddy on a crew down in Norfolk who was cutting walls for a tract home. They got three houses framed before someone noticed the foundations were all shifted six inches off the plans. Developer tried to blame the framers but it was the concrete guys who messed up the survey stakes. @riley_taylor knows that feeling of being the one holding the tape when it all goes wrong. They had to tear down three whole houses and start over. Lost almost two months. Homeowner was furious but the framers got paid for the redo luckily.
