Shoutout to my electrician for changing my layout plan at 9pm
I had every outlet and light switch mapped out for our Austin build, but my electrician, Mike, stayed late one night and told me to sit at the kitchen island with my laptop before he wired anything. He pointed out that my planned island outlet would be behind my stool and I would trip over cords every day, so he sketched a revised spot right there on a scrap of drywall. Has anyone else had a tradesperson catch a design flaw mid-install that you almost missed completely?
