PSA: That electrical sub panel from a liquidation store cost me 3 extra days of rough in.
Bought a cut-rate panel at a surplus place in Phoenix last month, and every single knockout was misaligned - has anyone else run into cheap gear that just blows up your timeline?

Three days? That's a rookie number, try adding a fourth when the knockouts are so out of whack that your 3/4" connector won't even start… I had one where the mounting holes were off by a solid 16th of an inch, had to redrill every single one with a step bit before I could even hang the thing. Bought a "bargain" load center once that had a dead short inside from the factory, fried my meter before I even got a breaker in… real steal of a deal.

Bought a "budget friendly" transfer switch off some weird website once, took me three hours just to figure out the manual was written in broken English and the diagram showed the neutral bar on the wrong side. Ended up having to call the company's "tech support" which was just a guy in his basement who kept telling me to "just wire it like the picture" even though the picture was literally impossible. Finally gave up and returned it, cost me like $40 in shipping both ways.
