Rant: I printed my YouTube subscriber count on a shirt in 2016 and wore it to the mall
Back in 2016 I hit 5,000 subs on my gaming channel and thought I was basically famous. I made a custom shirt that said "5K FAM" with my channel name in Comic Sans because I thought that made it funny on purpose. I wore that shirt to the Chandler mall on a Saturday and waited for someone, anyone, to say something. A guy at the food court finally walked up and asked if I was giving out free samples for a smoothie place. I said no and he just walked off, and I stood there holding a pretzel like an idiot. Now that shirt is in a box under my bed and I check on it sometimes just to feel something. Did anyone else make merch way too early and then have to live with it forever?
