My Xanga profile from 2006 just resurfaced and I want to delete my existence

Found my old Xanga with angsty poetry about a girl named Jenny who I barely talked to. There were 47 entries. Each one referenced some song lyric as the title. The last one was 3 weeks before my senior year. My friend printed it out and hung it in his garage. Has anyone else had someone bring up their old blog posts in person? How do you even respond to that without lying about the whole thing?

Take a breath. It's a Xanga from 2006, not a federal crime. Everyone wrote fake deep stuff about a Jenny or a Sarah or whoever sat two rows over in chemistry. Your friend hanging it up is honestly a compliment, it means you were at least entertaining. Just own it with a shrug and say "yep, that was me, I was going through some things" and move on. The only people who really care about old blog posts are the ones who never had any good ones.
