My Myspace top 8 drama from 2006 still haunts my group chats

I found a screenshot of my old Myspace profile last weekend while cleaning out my Google Drive, and I had literally ranked my then best friend at number 6 because she posted a blurry photo of me at a party in Denver. She found out because I left the page open on my shared dorm computer back in 2006, and she flipped out for a full week, we almost stopped talking. Now I'm seeing people debate whether those old social ranking systems were actually toxic or just harmless fun, because my wife thinks I'm overreacting when I say it still shapes how I handle friend groups. Has anyone else dug up an old profile that made you question your past self, and do you think the cringe is on us or the platform for making that a thing?
