Why does nobody talk about how entitled fans get when you miss ONE upload?
I run a small gaming channel, about 12k subs, and I post every Tuesday and Friday like clockwork for two years. Three weeks ago I caught a stomach bug and missed a Friday video for the first time ever. The comments on my next upload were brutal, people saying I owed them an apology, that they pay my bills, that I was lazy. One guy wrote a whole paragraph about how he'd been subbed since 200 subs and how I had changed. Here is the thing though, I looked at my numbers and that missed video only cost me about 400 views compared to my normal 3k. The people screaming the loudest are almost never the ones who actually watch or share. I stopped reading comments for a week and honestly my stress went down way more than my views did. Has anyone else had a tiny slip turn into a whole guilt trip from people who never even hit like?
