That $60 teleprompter app turned out to be my biggest waste this year
I run a small YouTube channel for car repair tutorials, and I got tired of fumbling my lines. So I paid $60 for a fancy teleprompter app that follows your face with the camera. Problem is, my shop lighting keeps making the face tracking glitch, so I read the script wrong in 3 different videos. I ended up redoing all those takes from scratch, which cost me way more time than the app saved. Does anyone else stick to simple cue cards or handwritten notes for their videos, or am I missing some setup trick that actually works?
