Serious question, is that expensive 'viral sound' pack worth it?

I dropped $150 on a pack of trending audio clips everyone said I needed, and my views actually went down. It felt forced and didn't fit my real style at all. Has anyone else found a better way to find good audio that doesn't cost a fortune?
