My video editing software crashed 6 times in one afternoon and I lost 3 hours of work
Last Tuesday I was in the zone cutting together a 12 minute review video. I had all the b-roll placed perfectly and was just tweaking the audio levels when my laptop froze for the THIRD time. Each crash took about 10 minutes to reboot and pray the auto-save worked. By the fifth crash I was literally talking to my screen, begging it to just let me export one time. Has anyone else had this happen with Premiere on a Windows machine or is it just me?

Is it really that dramatic though? I used to roll my eyes at people who said they'd scream at their computer, but after my editing software crashed on me for the sixth time in one day I totally get it. That frustration builds up and talking to the screen just kinda happens when you've lost everything.

Read some study saying talking to objects helps people process frustration, makes sense after losing hours of work.
