I figured out why my editing workflow felt so clunky after 2 years

I kept jumping between three different apps to trim audio, fix color, and add captions. It took me losing a client deadline last month to realize I was overcomplicating things. I finally sat down and learned one all-in-one editor from start to finish over a weekend. Now I can finish a video in half the time without switching tabs every 5 minutes. Has anyone else found a single tool that replaced two or three others?

Whoa, hold on, losing a whole client deadline over some app switching? That seems a bit extreme. I mean, yeah, three apps is annoying, but I've been using three different things for sound and color for years and I just make it work. Is it really that much faster to learn one big program from scratch than to just stick with the rhythm you already had?
