Had one viewer tell me my thumbnails were 'too busy' and it stuck with me for weeks
They DMed me after a tutorial video and said they clicked off in 3 seconds because they couldn't find the main focus. After that I stripped down to 3 elements max per thumbnail and my click rate went up 12% in a month. Anyone else get a random critique that actually fixed your workflow?

Wait hold on, THREE SECONDS? That's brutal. They didn't even give it a fair chance. But I kinda get it though, people scroll so fast now they don't even blink. A 12% click rate jump is massive, honestly that one rude comment probably saved your channel.
I had something similar happen with my video titles. Someone told me mine read like a robot wrote them. Made me mad at first but they were right. I started talking like a normal person in my titles and my views went up like 20%.
Sometimes the harshest feedback is the only stuff that actually sticks and makes you change things. It's annoying but true.

Had a buddy who made cooking videos. Someone said his voiceover sounded like a sleep aid. He got pissed. Ignored it for months. Finally tried talking at normal speed, like he was telling his mom a recipe. Views tripled in two weeks. That one mean comment changed his whole channel.

Wait, twenty percent from just talking normal in titles? That's insane!
