Can we talk about the 'post at 2pm' rule for my art page?
I spent months posting my digital paintings at 2pm every day because every tutorial said that was the sweet spot. My engagement stayed flat for like 3 months straight, maybe 20 likes per piece. Then out of pure frustration I posted something at 11pm on a Tuesday and it hit 400 likes by morning. Turns out my audience is mostly night owls from the West Coast, not the East Coast lunch crowd I assumed. Has anyone else ignored the 'optimal time' advice and found their real audience by accident?

Exact same thing happened with my animal portraits - switched to midnight spam posting and suddenly the 2am crowd showed up big time. Now I just post whenever I finish a piece and it always does better than any scheduled time.

Right? I had the same thing happen with my landscape photos. I'd stress all day about the perfect time to post, then one night at 3am I just threw one up because I couldn't sleep after feeding the baby. That post ended up being my most liked thing in months. Now I just fire them off whenever I finish editing and it's way less stressful plus somehow works better. The weirdest part is I always got the most engagement from like 11pm to 2am on weekdays, not sure who's even awake then but they keep hitting like.

Wait, the 2am crowd actually buys stuff or just likes it?
