Warning: that "write what you know" prompt backfired on me in a diner

A stranger in a booth next to me overheard me muttering about a prompt where a character inherits a haunted laundromat, and she leaned over to say, "Oh honey, I ran one of those in Tampa in '89, the ghosts only mess with the dryers." She then spent 20 minutes giving me plot notes about a poltergeist who folds socks, which was honestly better than anything I had planned. Has anyone else gotten unsolicited worldbuilding from a random person at a diner or bar?
