Thought writing prompts were a scam until I paid $12 for a used deck at a garage sale in Boise
Kept seeing those little prompt card decks online and figured they were just recycled advice you could find free anywhere, so I never bought one. Then I grabbed a beat up deck for $12 at a garage sale in Boise and the weird combo of words got me unstuck on a story I'd been stuck on for two months. Anyone else find that random physical prompts beat a blank notebook?

I read a blog once saying the physical act of flipping cards tricks your brain into new paths.
