That $60 ai story generator I bought wrote absolute nonsense
Last month I bought one of those AI story prompt generators that promised to create fresh ideas for my fiction writing. I paid $60 for a yearly subscription, thinking it would save me time coming up with plots. The first story it gave me was about a detective who solved crimes by eating the evidence, and another one had a knight fighting a dragon made of dental floss. I spent three hours tweaking the settings and feeding it my own examples, but it just kept spitting out the same random chaos. Has anyone else tried these prompt tools and gotten worse results than just staring at a blank page?

Dental floss dragon? That's genuinely insane. I've messed with a few of these AI tools and they can be wild, but that sounds like it's just broken in a fun way. Did you try asking it to rewrite the story with normal stuff, or did it just double down on the weird every time?
