Showerthought: I kept picking the 3am wake up over the midnight session for my prompts, and 2 weeks in I'm not sure which one wins
I started writing daily prompts last month and had to choose between doing them right before bed or getting up at 3am before work, and now I'm 14 days deep wondering if anyone else has tested which time of day actually gets them to finish a prompt instead of just staring at a blank doc.

Try the 3am one, honestly. Your brain's too fried at midnight to write anything worth keeping, so you just stare at the screen and call it "brainstorming." Mornings win for actually finishing stuff, even if waking up that early is miserable.
