My writing group's prompt quality tanked after we switched to an AI generator
Honestly, six months ago our prompts were all about specific characters in weird places, like a librarian in a sunken city. Now, after using that 'PromptMaster' app, everything is generic stuff like 'write a story about loss'. The difference is crazy. Has anyone else seen their group's creativity drop from using those tools?

Did the group decide to switch to the app, or did one person just start using it for everyone? That shift from specific ideas to vague themes sounds like it killed the fun part of the prompt.

Remember when Mark tried to make his book club use that one app? It went from picking cool books to just "read something about nature" and everyone lost interest fast.

Totally saw that happen with my hiking group. We used to pick specific trails like the waterfall loop or the old mining path. Then someone pushed an app that just said "forest hike" for the whole month. Went from planning fun trips to checking a boring box. Killed all the excitement in like two weeks.
