Back in 2012, I kept a notebook full of story ideas from random dreams.

Now I use a voice memo app on my phone to capture them before they fade. The switch happened about five years ago when I lost the notebook on a train in Boston. What's your weirdest method for catching a prompt before it's gone?

Losing that notebook must have been brutal.

Yeah brutal is the right word. Was it a physical notebook or digital notes that got lost? The physical ones are way worse, feels like losing a piece of your brain. I lost one years ago and still wonder what was in it.
