Update: picked the 60 ton over the 100 ton for a rooftop job in Tulsa
Last month I had a lift on a 5 story building in Tulsa and the choice was bring in the 100 ton or run our 60 ton with a bigger boom angle. I went with the 60 ton to save on the permit and setup time, and honestly it worked out fine, chart had me at 78 percent on the pick. The rigging crew was sweating it though, so now I'm second guessing myself. Anyone else run tight on a chart just to dodge the bigger crane and the extra cost?
