The brake pedal felt soft near the top of a 40 story climb, turns out my accumulator was leaking
I was setting steel on a job in downtown Columbus last month and the load started drifting on the boom, so I set it down and found the nitrogen charge was low, do you guys check those accumulators on a set schedule or just when something feels off?
Wouldn't you want to check them before they fail rather than after the load starts drifting? Waiting for a soft pedal or a drifting boom means you're already in a bad spot, so a set schedule seems like the safer call.
