Pro tip: I was setting up my outriggers wrong for a whole year
A guy on a site in Tacoma watched me and said, 'You know you're supposed to check the bubble level after each pad, not just at the end, right?' I'd been doing the whole setup and then checking, which is a great way to waste 20 minutes. How do you guys handle your outrigger routine?

What's wrong with wasting twenty minutes? Sometimes the old way forces you to slow down and double-check your own work. That extra time can catch a bigger mistake than a bubble level ever would.

My buddy who runs a crane crew says checking as you go is the only way to avoid a full reset. LauraS83 has a point about slowing down, but that time is better spent on the final safety check. A laser level sounds fancy, but the old bubble gets the job done if you use it right.
