I keep seeing guys set up cribbing wrong on soft ground in the same spot over and over
Last month out by the riverfront job in Pittsburgh I watched three different operators lay their mats directly on loose fill instead of digging down to solid base first, and every single one sank about 4 inches before the first pick.

Four inches down in loose fill? That's a permanent parking spot now.

That sucks man, I feel for you. Nothing worse than watching someone sink before they even get going.
