Warning: client asked for a 'lived-in' balayage after seeing a TikTok from a salon in Austin
She showed me the video and the stylist was using a 2 inch flat brush to paint these chunky, separated pieces. I tried it on her and the grow-out line looked harsh after 4 weeks, way off from the soft look she wanted. I'm thinking about going back to my regular feather brush and just working slower instead. Has anyone here tried that flat brush method and gotten it to blend right?
