Vent: Walked out of a client's wedding trial today after using the other salon's $200 blow dryer on her fine hair

Compared my $40 drugstore dryer to their fancy one on her thin strands and she had way more volume and shine with mine - has anyone else found that expensive tools just don't always beat basic ones for certain hair types?
