The $9 hair ties I ignored for years are actually the best

Last month I grabbed a pack of those plain cotton spiral ties at a CVS in Dayton because my usual brand was out, and they held a slick bun through a full Saturday of back-to-back color appointments without slipping. My client even asked what I used, and I had to admit it was the cheapo pack, has anyone else switched after years of fighting with the fancy ones?
