Spent 2 hours trying to fix a bad toner application on one client

I had a client come in last Tuesday wanting a cool ash brown, but the toner grabbed way too dark on her ends. I tried fading it with a clarifying wash, then a color remover, nothing worked right. After two hours of panic and three different formulas, I finally fixed it by just doing a gentle bleach wash on the dark spots. Has anyone else had a toner job go totally sideways like this?

Bleach wash saves everything honestly.

Eh, bleach can wreck some fabrics though.

Oh yeah totally true! I tried bleaching a bright red towel once and it came out looking all patchy and weird. But honestly for white stuff it's a lifesaver. I had this old pillowcase that was super dingy and yellow looking, threw it in a bleach soak for a few hours and it came out looking almost new again. Just gotta be real careful with anything colored.
