Had a big disagreement with another stylist over whether to trim wet or dry hair. I always cut dry for precision, but she says wet is faster and just as good. What's your method?

Seriously, dry cutting shows the hair's real movement so you never over-cut. Cutting wet just sets you up for a bad time fixing it later.

Dry cutting shows the hair's true movement and weight. Wet hair stretches up to 30% longer, so cuts dry unevenly. You might save minutes with wet cutting but waste hours fixing mistakes later. Always finish on dry hair to see the real shape.
