That contractor who yelled at me over site photos changed my whole process
I was on a job in Phoenix back in March and this old school GC literally ripped my phone out of my hand because he thought I was taking pictures of him slacking off. I was trying to document a plumbing rough-in for our daily log in Procore. After that I started using a dedicated camera with a time stamp watermark and syncing everything to the cloud immediately. Has anyone else had a client or boss get weird about site documentation tools?

Jeez that's a wild story. That guy had no right to grab your phone like that, sounds like he had some issues of his own. Ive had a few clients get weird about photos too, mostly older guys who think we're trying to catch them doing something wrong. The timestamp watermark is a smart move, I started doing that after a project manager tried to claim my photos were from the wrong day. Honestly its sad that we have to think about protecting ourselves like that instead of just doing our jobs.
