Had the worst software glitch last Tuesday that cost us a full day of data entry

We were using Procore to track punch lists on a job site in Austin when the system froze up and lost everyone's updates from the morning. About 15 items got wiped clean by the auto sync failure. Our PM had to walk the whole third floor again to recheck things. Has anyone else had a similar crash that set you back? I'm wondering if it's just our setup.

I used to be one of those "nothing bad happens to me" types, but man, getting laid off right after I told my wife "finally found a good spot" really snapped me out of it. The whole "right after I said this job is going great" thing hits hard now because I literally had that exact conversation with my boss an hour before he called me into his office. Timing is brutal, and it taught me to never get too comfortable or start celebrating until the check actually clears.
