DAE think the whole 'one app for everything' pitch is actually a downgrade?
Everyone in this space keeps pushing the idea that you need one giant app to run your whole job, and I just don't buy it. Last April I was running a 6 unit townhome project in Boise and my PM talked me into a big all in one system. For the first three weeks it felt fine. Then the daily logs started eating 40 minutes of my morning because the mobile app was so slow. Our super, who is 58 and not a tech guy, just stopped using it and went back to his paper notebook. I switched our punch list back to a simple standalone tool in June and our closeout time dropped by 11 days on the next job. Is anyone else finding that these all in one setups are actually slowing crews down, or is it just my jobs?
